TOP TIPS
Healthy hydration can seriously improve your overall health.
If you find it difficult and boring to drink water always remind yourself of the benefits of drinking water. You could also try adding things such as lime or lemon slices or both, crushed ice or ice cubes.
Drinking water at home or taking water from home in a bottle to work or school means you are only paying for that water once, through your water bill. Buying water from a shop, means you are paying for water twice. If you find it difficult to drink tap water, try filtered water from a filter jug.
WARNING
Please note that, although rare, over-hydrating can happen and in extreme cases can be dangerous. Information on the recommended fluid intake for children and adults can be found on this page.
